Description

When a button is pressed on the handheld remote control switch transmitter, power is applied to the internal circuitry and the unit is enabled. The unit detects the logic states of the button position. This information is formatted into a data packet and transmitted repeatedly until the button is released. The control receiver checks the addressing in the received data packet and encryption. If the button press information is valid and intended for the specific control receiver, the receiver will then activate the corresponding relay. The control receive has a user selectable setting that allows for either momentary operation (hold button press for "ON", release button for "OFF"). Or, Latching operation (press and release for "ON", press and release for "OFF").

Each set ordered comes with a factory programmed Transmitter/Receiver Set. Additional handheld button transmitters can be added to your current order or added later if a replacement is needed. The transmitters can be easy programmed in the field to operate with an existing control receiver.

Wireless Handheld Remote Control Switch Transmitter

The model WHH-RC900-TRAN Long-Range Wireless Handheld Transmitter is ideal for general purpose remote control and command applications that require long transmission distances. Operating in the 900MHz band, this small remote has a transmission range of up to 3000ft (0.6 Mile) depending on the receiver antenna and operating environment. The handheld remote control switch transmitter uses a Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) protocol to achieve longer range and higher noise immunity. An automatic acknowledgement flashing light on the front of the handheld unit lets the user know that the control receiver has received the transmission sent when a button is pressed.

All standard handheld units shipped feature a 8-button front keypad. Not all buttons are used. 1-line control models utilize button 0. 2-line control models utilize buttons 0 and 1, 3-line control models utilize buttons 0, 1 and 2. 4-line control models utilize buttons 0, 1, 2 and 3.

The handheld transmitter operates on a single, user replaceable, coin size (CR2032) battery that provides over 18 months life for average usage. Both rugged protective rubber boot and belt clip are included.

Wireless Control Relay Receiver

The control receiver included with this system features SPDT 5A relays. Four different control receivers that provide 1, 2, 3 or 4 relays are available at this time. The relays can be used to operate alarms, motors, valves, pumps, lights or other similar equipment. Features for the receiver include green lights that show each relays On/Off status,  a weatherproof polycarbonate NEMA 4X rated enclosure with a clear lid and molded-in mounting flanges, RP-SMA antenna connection that allows for direct antenna connection or the use of an antenna extension cable for remote mounting of the antenna for better reception. The receiver operates on 12-14V DC power.
